LG G5 gets always-on display -- but LG can’t call it an Always on Display™

LG teases the G5, its new soopah-doopah Android smartphone. It looks like it’ll have an always-on display, but unlike previous efforts, it won’t destroy the battery life—we’ll see about that on February 21.

We’ll also see what LG will call this “always-on display.” Because it seems the obvious phrase is already trademarked by Samsung. Oops.
