I've been advised that the server currently hosting this site is being switched off on Monday 27th March as it is old and end-of-life.

It has not been possible, so far, to find a server capable of hosting the site as the software is old and cannot be upgraded without purchasing a licence from Invision for their current forum platform.

Whilst this site is no longer being used, it does contain a lot of historic content which I'm sure is of interest, and I will keep looking for solutions to make this available. Читать дальше...

Since our formation, the Senior Blues have pledged support to Chester FC’s Academy, raising almost £30,000 in just over 10 years.

Recognising the need for additional funding for maintenance and infrastructure projects throughout the club, the Senior Blues have recently decided to extend their support to some of these aspects. This has included purchasing new chairs for the boardroom, amongst other initiatives.

City Fans United will be holding their next informal members meeting tonight (Thursday 2nd March), commencing at 7.30pm in the Blues Bar at Chester FC’s Deva Stadium.

Doors will be open for drinks at 7pm, and Directors will be present at the meeting to answer any questions that members have.

As this is an informal meeting, it will also be streamed online on the Chester FC You Tube (@ChesterFCTV) channel from 7.30pm.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of City Fans United and Chester Football Club takes place on Thursday, 3 November at the Deva Stadium.

The meeting, which begins at 7.30pm with doors open from 7pm, will take place in the Blues Bar.

Just one more sleep until the big one as we make the journey to Greater Manchester tomorrow to face Oldham Athletic away in the Emirates FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round where we look to cause a shock. Excitement will quite rightly be reaching fever pitch amongst our fanbase now, as our players should be backed by a magnificent away following of around the 2,000 mark. So far we have sold nearly 1,700 tickets, and with a day still to go plus pay on the gate being an option, I would not be surprised if we were to break the 2k barrier at all. Читать дальше...

On the back of two consecutive away games we are finally back at the Deva today as we entertain Hanley Town at home in the Emirates FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round where we look to make it seven unbeaten. We managed to get through the Pontefract Collieries tie with no problem in the end after a sluggish start, so it is important we start off well tomorrow and perform strongly for the whole 90 minutes.
