Chris Grenham: Woj on the Woj & Lowe Special said the Hawks will likely keep John Collins. Added that they had discussions with a number of teams, but he’ll probably finish the year with Atlanta.
Atlanta has discussed deals for Malcolm Brogdon, but Brogdon’s contract (he is owed $44 million over the next two seasons) and injury history make a deal unlikely.
With a day left until the 2020-21 NBA trade deadline, the action should start to pick up starting today, with the time for negotiating and haggling finally nearing its end – and teams needing to decide what they’re actually willing to part with to land stars.
