Despite having a lot of big decisions to make this offseason, trading Rui Hachimura doesn’t appear to be something the Los Angeles Lakers feel they need to do. On the Buha’s Block YouTube Show (starts at 18:40 mark), The Athletic’s Jovan Buha explained the Lakers aren’t “actively” shopping or looking to trade Hachimura this summer.

Rumors of the Lakers’ staffing plans have run throughout the league during the past two weeks, with some names most commonly mentioned including former head coach Scott Brooks and assistants Sam Cassell and Jared Dudley. Ex-Lakers guard Rajon Rondo has also been under consideration, according to people with knowledge of the situation not authorized to speak publicly.

He aims to become the first Chinese prospect drafted since Zhou Qi and Wang Zhelin in 2016.
