Hawks looking for a pair of first-round picks plus a starting-level player for Dejounte Murray
A deal highlighted by the No. 35 pick probably isn’t going to strike Atlanta’s fancy for Dejounte Murray, considering the Hawks, at present, are searching for a pair of first-round picks plus a starting-level player for their All-Star combo guard, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

One of the “trades we would like to see” from @BobbyMarks42 in his Nets deadline preview:
Brooklyn: Dejounte Murray
Atlanta: Spencer Dinwiddie, 2025 PHX 1st (Top-10 protected), 2026 BKN 2nd, 2029 DAL 2nd
Murray’s value continues to feel like it’s between 1-2 first-round picks. – 12:13 PM

Feels like Terry Rozier is a (good) Plan B and that some other team is offering a better package for Dejounte Murray. Liked Murray better as a fit for Miami but Rozier still gives them a needed, additional scoring threat. – 10:57 AM

Terry Rozier is the first domino to fall in what’s expected to be an active point guard market ahead of this year’s trade deadline.
Dejounte Murray, Tyus Jones, Malcolm Brogdon, and D’Angelo Russell are just some of the other names who could be moved within the next few weeks. – 10:26 AM

Could Miami have nabbed Dejounte Murray for a similar package plus a little more? Would that even have been wise? Little surprised they weren’t more in on Murray. – 10:24 AM

Should the Nets try to outbid the Lakers for Dejounte Murray? Or should they try to land D’Angelo Russell in a three-team deal?
I broke down why Brooklyn could be in a position to make either happen and what could play into their decision between the two: clutchpoints.com/nets-dejounte-… – 2:00 PM

The Lakers are searching for backcourt upgrades on the trade market, per @ShamsCharania.
Los Angeles has shown interest in the best available guards: Dejounte Murray, Bruce Brown, Terry Rozier, and Tyus Jones.
D’Angelo Russell would likely be on the move in any potential deal. pic.twitter.com/JSNMouGd0K – 12:07 PM

FWIW, the Sixers have started pushing back on the possibility of trading for Dejounte Murray as he’s been connected to them more lately.
My two cents: could just be expectation setting based on price, hasn’t been as forceful as w/ LaVine. But that’s where things are right now – 3:23 PM

Then there are the loftier targets, including Dejounte Murray and Bruce Brown Jr., sources said. For Milwaukee to get into the salary ballpark for either difference-maker, the Bucks would have to include Portis and his $11.7 million figure. This sequence of options is quite illustrative of how many front offices’ approach the deadline. -via Yahoo! Sports / January 24, 2024

Adrian Wojnarowski: Dejounte Murray had a great week, last week had a couple game winners. You know, they’ve talked with the Lakers. They’ve exchanged the idea of on some concepts. There’s nothing there yet. Certainly some other places, some other teams, with interest in Murray, but Atlanta wants to get value back. And they gave up a lot to San Antonio: three first round picks, and they’re not going to get that back in this trade. -via Apple Podcasts / January 24, 2024
