Shattered glass from shooting injures bystander in Bricktown

OKLAHOMA CITY – A bystander was injured this weekend following a shooting in Bricktown. On Sunday, officers were called to an area near S.E. 2nd St. and Oklahoma after witnesses reported hearing gunshots. Investigators say two people got into an argument, and one person fired a gun at the other. The bullet hit a car window, and a bystander was injured by the glass. Thankfully, no one suffered serious injuries. At this point, no arrests have been made.

Trader Joe’s recalling packaged salads amid contamination fears

NEW YORK –  Trader Joe’s says it has recalled several packaged salads after a supplier said there may be shards of glass or hard plastic inside. OKLAHOMA CITY – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in southeast Oklahoma City. The crash was reported just before 6 p.m. on Sunday near S.E. 59th and Sunnylane Road. He was on a skateboard when hit, according to officials. Initial reports said he was in serious condition, but the victim is reportedly alive and has been transported to a local hospital. However, his current condition is unknown at this time.
