OKLAHOMA CITY – Staff at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden are mourning the loss of a beloved animal. B.C., a 14-year-old female cheetah, was humanely euthanized on Friday after an extended illness, according to the zoo. GUTHRIE, Okla. – One man and four dogs were killed in a house fire in Guthrie over the weekend. Firefighters responded to the home near East Vilas and Cedar Street Saturday afternoon. When crews arrived and made their way into the home, they found an unresponsive man. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating after a food truck was robbed in southwest Oklahoma City. Officers were called to the area of Southwest 29th and Kentucky around 2 a.m. Sunday. Police say the suspect was able to get away with about $800. Authorities believe the suspect drove away in a black Jeep. There is no other suspect description available at this time. No one was injured.

STILLWATER, Okla. – A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Stillwater man over the weekend, Oklahoma Highway Patrol says. It happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday on McElroy near Fairgrounds Road. LEXINGTON, Okla. – A Lexington correctional officer has died after being found unresponsive at her home. According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, the officer – who worked at the Lexington Assessment and Reception Center – was found early Saturday morning. A supervising CO had gone by the officer’s residence around 6:45 a.m. to check on her well-being. He knocked on her door, received no response, entered and found her unresponsive.
