OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are investigating the city’s 56th homicide of the year. On Saturday, at around 9:45 p.m., police responded to a shooting call near NW 10th and Rockwell. Police arrived at the scene and did not find any victims. However, a short time later, a victim arrived at a hospital by private vehicle and was pronounced dead. WEBBERS FALLS, Okla. – An Oklahoma school damaged from flooding over the spring season is back open and students are returning to classes. Webbers Falls Public Schools students were supposed to begin classes on August 9, but that changed to September 3 due to cleanup. MUSTANG, Okla. – An elementary school in Mustang is closed Monday due to power outage. According to officials with Mustang Public Schools, Mustang Valley Elementary is closed Monday. School officials say a transformer is down, leaving two-thirds of the building without power. OG&E crews are working to restore power. All other sites are open Monday.

KONAWA, Okla. – A man is recovering after being attacked and robbed in his Konawa home over the weekend. Oklahoma’s defense last year was among the worst in the nation at forcing turnovers. Only four teams in the nation forced fewer than the Sooners did. It was an emphasis all offseason under new defensive coordinator Alex Grinch, but in the season opener against Houston, the Sooners didn’t force any. They forced three against South Dakota, however, including one that resulted directly in a touchdown. Dylan Buckingham reports from Norman.

Oklahoma State wide receiver Tylan Wallace once again put up big numbers for the Cowboys in their 56-14 rout of McNeese State on Saturday night. Wallace had five catches for 180 yards and three touchdowns, and made it look easy doing it. Nate Feken reports from Stillwater.

Oklahoma’s offense produced nine touchdowns from nine different players in their 70-14 rout of South Dakota on Saturday night. They came from veteran players and up and coming young stars. Dylan Buckingham reports from Norman.

Oklahoma State’s defense showed signs of progress over their season opener in  56-14 rout of McNeese State on Saturday night.. OSU got an interception return for a touchdown from A.J. Green on the opening possession and only allowed one offensive touchdown the whole night. Nate Feken reports from Stillwater.
