School is in full swing here in Acadiana, and in Lafayette Parish, two new schools opened today. Billeaud Elementary in Broussard and Baranco Elementary on Moss Street, where teachers and staff were excited to welcome students on their first day. About 300 students are enrolled at Baranco.
