More scattered storms today with a low threat for severe weather

Scattered showers and storms are back in the forecast this Tuesday along with a low threat to see severe weather within Acadiana. Rain chances increase to 50% this morning as scattered rain continues into the early afternoon. A few storms could produce damaging winds and/or large hail today but the threat remains low. Otherwise, warm and humid continue as highs will be back in the lower 80s under mostly cloudy skies.
Warm and humid conditions roll on with quieter weather on Wednesday and Thursday. A cold front is expected on Friday which could bring another risk for severe weather. Cooler and breezy weather arrive for the weekend.
