RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- Authorities in Rapides Parish have caught an inmate who escaped the Rapides Parish Detention Center in early February and arrested several others for assisting.
Officials said on the evening of Feb. 9, Devacheay Tray Martin escaped from the Rapides Parish Detention Center 3, where he was being held on a pre-trail charge for attempted second-degree murder and parole violations.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Webster Street in Alexandria. Martin was located and arrested without incident. He was transported back to the Rapides Parish Detention Center with additional charges and a bond of $576,000.
During the search for Martin, officials said they identified numerous individuals who allegedly assisted Martin in various ways after he escaped, including but not limited to, helping him evade law enforcement.

- Possession of fentanyl (less than 2 grams)
- Possession of CDS I (marijuana 14 grams or less)
Dealiyah Skye Robertson, 20
- Simple escape
- Accessory after the fact
- Simple burglary (ADP)
- Criminal damage to property
Denzel Dupree Williams, 28
- Simple escape
- Accessory after the fact
- Criminal conspiracy
- Production, manufacture, and distribution of marijuana (less than 2.5 pounds)
- Legend drug possession, sale or distribution with out prescription
- Possession of drug paraphilernalia
- Possession of firearm by convicted felon
- Illegal carry of firearm with illegal drugs
Tyreke Traveze Taylor, 22

Carrie Rykietha Blue, 29

One 17-year-old juvenile was also cited for one count of accessory after the fact and released to their parents. Investigators say their investigation is ongoing and more arrest are possible.
