Tickets are now available for purchase for this year's Angola Prison Rodeo.
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Tickets are now available for purchase for this year's Angola Prison Rodeo.
The Angola Prison Rodeo will be taking place on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21. The rodeo will also be held every Sunday in October.
According to the rodeo's website, rodeo tickets are $20 and children two years old and under get in free "as long as they sit on your lap." There will also be no refunds and exchanges.
The schedule of events at the Angola Prison Rodeo includes a grand entry, bust out, bareback riding, wild horse race, barrel racing, bull-dogging, chariot race, wild cow milking, bull riding, convict poker, and guts and glory.
Tickets can either be purchased online at the rodeo's website or by calling (225) 665-2030 or (225) 655-2607 on weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
