CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) -- A five-year-old girl was hit by a stray bullet in Crowley Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
Crowley Police said two men began shooting at another man in the 500 block of West Andrus at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, in an area with a large number of people outside their homes, many of them children. A five-year-old girl was struck while being walked from her bus stop to her residence by her father, authorities said.
The girl was rushed to a hospital to receive treatment for a non-life-threatening wound, and released.
