Sunny and warmer through the next few days, stormy pattern late-week

We'll see sunshine, except for a few passing clouds, through tomorrow and Tuesday. We'll also begin to see a warming trend with south winds returning. Highs tomorrow will be in the lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. It will still be a chilly start to your Monday, however, with lows in the upper 40s.

By Tuesday, the warming trend continues, with highs topping out in the mid-70s under partly cloudy skies.

By Wednesday, the flow aloft will begin to turn southwesterly, allowing more moisture into the region. This will lead to an increase in cloud cover and a chance of showers throughout the day. Thursday will be similar, but rain chances on both Wednesday and Thursday should be isolated at around 30%.

By the end of the week, a front will stall across the area, or just north of it, as a piece of upper-level energy digs across the Rockies. This will swing multiple disturbances our way, leading to a wet weather pattern. Rain chances will increase to about 60% on Friday and stay elevated through the weekend. Warm temperatures will also be expected as we'll be south of the front. Highs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday could be in the lower 80s, depending on the amount of cloud and rain coverage each afternoon.
