Starting a healthier lifestyle and joining a gym can be intimidating, but what if there were free fitness activities in a park?
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Starting a healthier lifestyle and joining a gym can be intimidating,
but what if there were free fitness activities in a park?
It's never too early to start your fitness journey. The Fit For All fitness series is a partnership between Moncus Park and Louisiana Orthopedic.
Michael Prejean, CEO, of Louisiana Orthopedic says it's perfect for those who want to get moving but are not ready to commit to a gym membership
"It's an incredible resource to have all of these trainers weekly. Getting more active to transition to working out. We have this to help you transition from a stable lifestyle to something more active," Prejean said.
For 39 weeks straight, adults, toddlers and teens will have a list of activities to choose from.
"Some up to 3 times a week. We have dance fitness, yoga, kids fitness and all of this is free for the community," said Hebert."
