Much milder weather is in Acadiana this morning along with a few spotty sprinkles along our coastal parishes. Warmer, muggier, and cloudier conditions are expected today as highs reach the upper 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Rain chances should increase to 30% later this morning leading to isolated showers and storms in Acadiana.
Scattered storms become more widespread on Friday and throughout the weekend. There will be a low potential for flash flooding along with a low risk for severe weather. The higher threats for flash flooding and stronger storms should remain north of Acadiana.
