(KLFY)-- This weekend in Lafayette, the Celtic Bayou Festival will be kicking off, and one of their popular, annual events, the Guinness Cook-Off, promises to bring some unique dishes.

"Celtic Bayou is back this weekend. We're excited,” Davoren said.

The Guinness Cook-Off has been happening at every Celtic Bayou Festival since 2016. Davoren wants all the Cajun and Creole cooks out there to sign up and participate on Saturday.

"You can cook whatever you want as long as it has Guinness,” he said.

The festival will be open Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at Warehouse 535 in Lafayette.
