Cooler and drier weather has arrived in Acadiana to start the work week. Temperatures have fallen into the 50s to 60s this Monday morning behind stronger northerly winds. Highs are expected to reach the mid-60s under mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. Northerly winds will gust over 20 to 30 mph at times.
Overnight lows will be well below average as temperatures drop into the mid to upper 30s. Areas north of I-10 could see frost.
