Berwick Junior High evacuated due to anonymous threat
Students at Berwick Junior High School had their studies interrupted this afternoon due to an anonymous threat, authorities said.
BERWICK, La. (KLFY) -- Students at Berwick Junior High School had their studies interrupted this afternoon due to an anonymous threat, authorities said.
At approximately 12:40 p.m. Berwick Police responded to report of a threatening note that was found in a students' bathroom at the school. As a precaution, all students and staff were evacuated and a search of the premises was conducted, according to police.
Shortly after concluding that there were no threats the students and staff were brought back inside and resumed school, authorities said.
