Showers and storms will become likely across Acadiana as we head into the late morning hours this Thursday. Rain chances for the afternoon are expected to be at 70%. There is a very low risk for severe weather as a couple of storms could produce damaging winds, large hail, or a brief tornado. The higher risk for severe weather and flash flooding should remain across southeast Texas. Otherwise, conditions remain cloudy and cool with temperatures staying in the 50s to 60s.

Scattered rain is likely Friday morning followed by a second round of scattered rain tomorrow evening. The weekend is looking great with mild and quiet weather.
