Driver refusing to exit vehicle after traffic stop, Lafayette authorities on scene

LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (KLFY)-- Louisiana State Police and the Lafayette Police Department are currently on the scene of a passenger refusing to leave the vehicle after an attempted traffic stop.
There is a large law enforcement presence on the scene near the McDonald's on Louisiana Avenue, and according to State Police, authorities tried to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver is not leaving the vehicle as requested.
