I-10 WB at mile marker 5 in Calcasieu Parish down to one lane due to accident
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an emergency closure for both lanes of Interstate 10 Westbound at the Gum Gully Bridge (Mile Marker 5).
UPDATE, 1:15 p.m.: DOTD said the left lane of traffic on Westbound I-10 at mile marker 5 is now open, but all lanes are blocked at near Gum Cove Road, mile marker 9, due to debris on the roadway.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an emergency closure for both lanes of Interstate 10 Westbound at the Gum Gully Bridge (mile marker 5).
The closure is necessary for crews to perform cleanup due to an accident, DOTD said.
DOTD will issue an update once the closure is lifted.
