Centralia wins 1A state championship

HAYS, KS (KSNT) – Centralia rallied from a 14-6 halftime deficit to defeat Smith Center for the 1A state championship 18-14. It’s the fourth state championship in school history. Centralia quarterback Kamble Haverkamp scored the game-winning touchdown with less than a minute to play in the game. Centralia finishes the season at 12-1.
