In Eanes ISD, the district is looking into current policies and figuring out how applications like ChatGPT can be used. "I think it has lots of value in education we are just trying to figure out where that fits," said Fred Benitez, who is the director of educational technology at Eanes ISD. Benitez pulled up the application, ChatGPT, which he says is currently restricted for students in the district.

A bill one Texas mother says is designed to better protect children at swim schools is in jeopardy at the Texas Capitol this week as we near the end of the session. It would take a last-minute push for the Mitchell Chang Swim Safety Act to pass in the Senate.  The bill is named after three-year-old Mitchell Chang who drowned after a parent's night out event at a Texas swim school.
