Tri-Valley economy, job market boom: new report

Over a decade-long period from 2006 to 2016, total payroll jobs jumped by 35 percent in the Tri-Valley, 31 percent in San Francisco County and by 19 percent in Silicon Valley, which the report defined as the combination of Santa Clara County and San Mateo County, according to a new report from the Bay Area Council's Economic Institute.
