Campbell springs into action with March events
Concerts, job fair, museum mixer on tap.
Teen job fair
The Campbell Youth Commission is hosting a job fair for teens on Saturday, March 9, 10 a.m.-noon, at the Orchard City Banquet Hall in the Campbell Community Center, 1 W. Campbell Ave.
Businesses will each have their own table to set up displays and have job applications available.
Big guitar show
The Ainsley House is hosting a Big Guitar Show March 10 featuring the jazz, Americana and Latin stylings of the Chris Shahin Trio. Also on the bill will be the Andres and Francheska Duo, classical guitarists from San Francisco.
Shows are at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Carriage House at the Ainsley House, 51 N. Central Ave. Tickets are $30 at https://www.campbellmuseums.com/shop.
A percentage of the proceeds will support the Hearts And Minds Activity Center, an organization in San Jose that cares for adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Choir and orchestra fest
The Campbell Union High School District is staging a Choir and Orchestra Festival on March 11, 7 p.m., at the Heritage Theatre, 1 West. Campbell Ave. Students from across the district will perform a variety of musical selections.

Museum mixer
The Campbell Museum Foundation is hosting a Museum Mixer and Happy Hour on Thursday, March 14, 5:30-7:30 p.m., inside the Carriage House at the Ainsley House. The event features live music by Johnny Neri, appetizers and the opportunity to meet current foundation board members to learn about the organization, which is seeking new board members.
