start from the south day use area, or south camp ground for those that
want to come up the day before. There is a north camp ground
and day use area and a south campground and day use area. We're using

Mid-Iowa Driving Association is made up of a group of people who love to drive their horses, ponies, minis and mules for fun and recreation. We meet once a month for pleasure drives and picnics throughout the months that allow us to enjoy the Iowa weather! We welcome guests and appreciate outriders on horseback to come along with us.
Join the Mid-Iowa Chapter of Back Country Horsemen for a clean up day at Brushy Creek State Recreation Area. Met at the South Equestrian Campground at 10:00 am. We will be joined by the Friends of Brushy Creek to help spread lime stone at the tie posts and repair several tie posts. Bring shovels and rakes. Bring a sack lunch and whatever you would like to drink. Camp liaisons are Ralph Walker and Sharon Scandett.
