the thing I do not understand is how it was ever possible to con the Championship clubs into signing away all broadcast rights to Sky without either any guarantees as to actual broadcasting, and/or a slice of the pie.
It should be obvious that if Championship games were not to be weekly televised by Sky, then the Championship clubs should be free to make their own arrangements - or even negotiate their own deal, and divi any money arising.
For the RFL to makeweight the broadcasting rights into the deal... Читать дальше...
Ah well, what do I know. It's now safe to presume Wardy has asked the club for money for 12 new players and each time he was told to get back in his office and carrying on trying to make wine out of water for the bar downstairs.
Crack on lads, hopefully Hughesy will walk in the next few weeks and then Danny can sign anyone he likes

On Mamo he may still be injured, he seemed to take his time getting fit for Huddersfield. I think BMM picked up an injury a couple of weeks back didn't he? Could... Читать дальше...
If you put the injuries we have in their respective positions, that’s also a squad in itself. 1 2 Tom Jonstone 3 Billy Tupou 4 Joe Arundel 5 6 Jacob Miller 7 Danny Brough 8 Craig Kopczak 9 10 Anthony England 11 Matty Ashurst 12 James Bachelor 13 Tyler Randell ( due to return)
Subs 14 Craig Huby
When you look at that its amazing the quality of the squad we are still able to put out. Only Kershaw has no real SL experience... Читать дальше...

Its that time of the year when players that are off contract start to take stock of their options for next year. I think we can safely say we will still be in the championship next year so who should we be looking to re-sign and who potentially could be available... and would want to come to the Bulls for 2020?
Bulls contracted for 2020 - Brandon Pickersgill, Jy Hitchcox, Jake Webster, Joe Keyes, Rowan Milnes, Steve Crossley, Elliott Minchella, Connor Farrell, Evan Hodgson, Matty Storton,... Читать дальше...
At the season's start we would have looked at this game as a home banker. With our performances as the season unfolded I would have been happy to just get the two points from it. Now after the change of coach and seeing the lads at Sheffield last Sunday i'm a lot more optimistic. Let's see if we can back a good win up with another two points and just as importantly another good display. Fax 34v10 Barrow. Up The Fax!

Used to enjoy watching the “A” Team back in the day!
As someone mentioned earlier John Holmes used to turn out for the A team...it was a total joy watching him play at any level but guiding a young team around was an education.

I look at it this way every win with our current injuries is a bonus. The plus side is that as these players return it will strengthen our chances in the run in because they will be fresh with most having missed on average 12 games.

I’ve never met a Cas fan in person from Normy but I’ve seen the odd shirt around the place so I assume they are there. Come on mate you’re better than that.
go into the Black Swan in Normy. Speak to the landlord who is a Cas sponsor. He will point you in the right direction.
