After a promising showing in our pre season games it looked like we were going to miss out on the points in the first league game against a strong Sheffield team. Trailing by 7 points with 10 minutes to go suddenly our attack came to life and put pressure on the Sheffield line and over went Steve Tyrer and finally Oliver Roberts to clinch the game with 2 minutes to go.
Oliver took the sponsors MOM with the Hitman going to Scott Murrell.
In the Shay Lounge Oliver also took the MOM and... Читать дальше...
Wane should have been our coach last year. No doubt about it. Sinfield totally to blame for Agar appointment. I love Kev to bits for what hes done for us as a player but hes got it wrong on this one

A high scoring start to the season – 4 managing to correctly pick all the winners, not too shabby with no form to go on – Bull Mania, Pyrah123, FevGrinder and Mr Dog.
Pyrah123 is the early leader having correctly predicted the winning margin in the Toulouse v York game as well as the bonus question.
Not seen the exact attendance given apart from being “well over 2500” so anyone having said 2300+ gets the points. Hopefully they’re more specific on the VAT declaration…

Leeds choose to send academy players on loan rather than stockpile them.
but then you know that....

I saw a comment on the VT after the game saying were the grubs on the night. It therefore seems strange that the other side copped a red card, a yellow card and one of their players got a 3 game ban, whilst we come out with pretty much a clean slate.
Those pesky officials!

Grade c penalty notice of 3 games, so that’s saints, Wakefield and Toronto he’s set to miss! Hopefully he comes back and just gets back to doing what he does best keeping his head down and running hard.

Shaun Wane has often spoken of his admiration of Lee Radford.
Just wonder if Radders will be offered a role in the new England set up.

See Shaun Wane doesn't want Sinny interfering with his approach to leading England into the World Cup.
No wonder Leeds didn't approach Wane to coach our woeful wonders, it may have led to Sinny having to step down from his DoR role.
Instead we stick with "Yes man" Agar to return the club too the promised land.
Wane would have been the more effective move.

After watching our season opener Vs Wigan I had a genuine buzz about the new season. Up until that point I really couldn't have given much of a toss.
I thought both us and Wigan played a really high intensity game with plenty of skill on show with little error on both sides with ball in hand.
After watching that then watching the rest of the games I tuned out by half time. This isn't some bias towards being interested in my own team only, I watch RL at many levels. I genuinely love watching the game. Читать дальше...
Took a hiding. https://londonbroncosrl.com/news/a-toug ... -reserves/
What is the purpose of the reserves in relation to the 1st team?
Do those not selected for the first team play in the reserves with a few kids??

He was overall great, but I have to agree, he got caught out twice, luckily he got back with help to stop Handley in the first 10 minutes, certainly something to work on as teams will target him, Rovers with Quinlan and Linnet will be a threat there on Friday.

One would like to think we could get our season off to a better start, with Cats travelling badly, and having a couple of players suspended; who knows though - I wasn't at the game on Friday, but it sounded like we stunk the place out?
