Signed up for another 3 years as assistant coach.
Seem to see less of him now that Watson is coach, but good that he’s adopted this club as his own.

It’s difficult to comment on how a coach like Briers or John Duffy would go with the attack. I mean they couldn’t do any worse but like Lam, it doesn’t automatically mean a good halfback as a player becomes a good attacking coach. If Briers can bring the same invention and tactical nous in to his coaching that he did as a player than happy days.

Smith is and always has been, a good talented player who unlike many good young scrum halves of the past has not been fortunate at Wigan to be playing with a better, more experienced and dominate pack like that of the present St Helens team which Theo Farge and now Lewis Dodd have or been doing.

A Scrum Half is only as good as the pack playing in front of him which is not the case with the present pack at Wigan and might explain the lack of attacking rugby... Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • WIRE YED Prediction Competition Castleford Away

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Could the final game of of regular (if that's the right word) season be any more interesting...players coming and going, being rested and gaining momentum keeping your powder dry or getting the upper hand against potential future play off opponents and all under the scrutiny of a coach who's heading to sunnier climes and then there's Price who'll want to ensure that he leaves the Wire with his head held high

It's all happening for what is ostensibly a dead rubber for the P&B but who will... Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls - RedAmberandBlack.net • Whitehaven (H)

So the last game of the regular season. Think we're going to do well to get a win here. Whitehaven have had a superb season and are in red hot form.

Haven't felt as deflated after a defeat for a long time. I hope we don't just limp into the play-offs and and let pretty decent season just fizzle out.

There's a great offer on with £10 for adults and kids go free for all fans (take note Widnes) so hopefully we can entice a few stay aways back, we get a good win against a good side and have a decent crack in the play-offs. Читать дальше...

The whole League One situation is a mess. How can clubs offer contracts to players for next season when they don't know what the central funding will be or what they'll be playing for?

If the two leagues of ten happens for 2023, how could there be promotion for any League One club into... Читать дальше...

Best keep Ayling and Cooper then if they are Championship players. Might be handy next season.

Quite frankly, for me its another obscure and imperfect vision of what is the reality of the situation. Читать дальше...

The club's thinking seems far from joined up. If the move was driven by a desire for a return to SL, why is this combined with a switch to part time and the weakest squad will we likely ever have seen at the club.

Agreed Buzz it makes no sense at all, unless Orange is right & we get a spot in the 20 on location, development & ground (wimbledon) reasons.

AFC have had a really good start to the season so that might limit interest in us by their fans. Читать дальше...
