Hill is an outstanding prospect as is Zac Eckersley. Is JW still involved?
When we were in Aus for the Hull game in 2018 we were talking to someone who was a referee at amateur level who was from Cumbria and he said Wigan had signed Hill and that he was one of the best kids he'd seen coming through the Cumbrian teams.

Yeah he’s the Head coach.

I was happy we signed him and think before he even played for us he's a better all round player than Mamo. Didn't really get the dislike for him from the get go, same with Holmes, i'm buzzing we signed him and think he's brilliant but people seem to be underwhelmed we signed him. Personal oppinions though so each to their own.

London Broncos • Shane Richardson v Martyn Sadler

John Drake is a reasonable man. His boss in Martyn Sadler. What can he do? Work for one of the UK's other major publishers in rugby league?

I was banned from total years ago for predicting that the game in the UK was shrinking to the extent that it would end up with smaller income streams. I suggested league copy unions model and stop letting the tail wag the dog (clubs run the game)
I was branded a union troll by the majority and banned due to complaints received. Читать дальше...

I am hearing Riley Dean will get a run in the halves at the expense of Gareth Widdop. Bit of a surprise but good to see Powell prepared to blood his youngsters.

According to the fixture list Wigan reserves were supposed to play Hull today. Is this going ahead? Would have thought it would be on Wigan TV, no updates on social media either.

Saw that he went off clutching his arm today. Anybody who went know how bad it looked?

Looks like Murphy might get his shot after scoring 2 and setting up another today.

For a team that's poor on discipline, why on earth would we have Watts back?

He was a liability last time he was here, rewind back to the headbutts.

Funny enough his head but against Crosby, that particular match I think we won.
Liam is only around 31, his form may of dipped slightly, but as they say form is temporary, around four years he’s been gone, and boy he was missed.

Should he come back for one last hurrah with Tag, and Big Chris, it’s a yes from me. Читать дальше...

How are we clearly confident? Widnes still have bragging rights after the last win at LSV and are forever lauding it on the Twitter Widnes feed.

We owe you one.

I’d forget last year. Dewsbury turned us over twice last year, many changes since then.

Just reading a couple of comments on this board, that’s all. At the end of the day, there’s no reason Leigh shouldn’t be upbeat. Beyond that first Fev game, which I thought you played pretty well l, Leigh have had a strong start. Читать дальше...

Murphy has all the attributes to be another Johnstone. Doesn’t surprise me he has the better of Ethan Ryan.

It's not about the defeats for me.
I can take being 0 from 3, especially against 3 teams who will probably finish above us.
It's the manner of the defeats that is the concern.
We look really badly coached and totally devoid of any game plan.
That doesn't suddenly change overnight.
Dwyer is the case in point - we have him on the bench as a last resort to try and salvage something from a game.
Smacks of fear and desperation.

Warrington Wolves • Toulouse Coverage?

There’s some irritating Eurosport results when I was Googling if it was being shown anywhere, that infer it’s on Eurosport but reading between the lines, I think it’s just score updates on their website.

If anyone has any joy let us know !

Two games that Bowes could easily have gone hiding in against the champions and runners up but seems the young lad has earned some respect with his performances. Good on him and he will be better for the experience and be rewarded with another game no doubt.

Seeing as how Wigan play away in France two weeks running, is it the intention to stay and train there for the whole week? It would certainly make sense.

Smith has a great work rate, he regularly makes 30 or 40 tackles a game, he does give away stupid penalties, but he's very skillful. If he could get in better shape he'd be phenomenal

The starting partnership of Ellis/Singleton is for my money excellent. They both laid down the marker last night and within the first 10mins secured the win by outenthusing and dominating Huddersfield’s pack IMO. Mago was quiet but still good and I disagree with some posters re Byrne, I thought he put himself about a lot.

My disappointment comes in Partington. Honestly I didn’t even know he’d come on until it was announced he was off for Isa.
