One of the most frustrating aspects of watching Blues during our long downturn has been that, for all we've supposedly tried to set up defensively and pack the midfield, the opposition still always seemed to have plenty of time and space to pass the ball around.

I dunno whether it's just more motivation and harder running from the players, or if something has changed tactically. But all the sudden it's working; the opposition last two games hasn't been able to pick a pass without being pressured. It isn't just our defence which has benefited, we're also looking more threatening going forward by forcing mistakes and picking up second balls.

Not getting carried away (we're still in the relegation zone, after all), and not sure why we've looked so much better the past two games, but long may it continue!
