Forget the year but it was late 80's, we played Plymouth on a Tuesday night. Me and Razzle took the day off and went on the piss in town. We used to do that alot for night games. We were in the Digbeth somewhere, may have been the Spotted Dog playing pool with a couple of Plymouth fans. It was friendly but with an edge. As the beers went down they got a bit mouthy and Razzle threw the chalk at one of them. Next came a pint pot at us and we went for them. Running them out the pub they flew down the road. Ever done it? Cheltenham, Swindon, Liverpool, Everton and vile off the top of my head. I remember standing on the Kop and Gwladys Street end wearing our ball and globe badges on our leather box jackets, pinned behind the lapel, but we still wore our badges in the home end :)

Was worth posting, fantastic performance, tore them to pieces.

What a talent this lad is, if we can stay up would love to loan him again for a season, he’s a joy to watch, such an exciting player, it’s refreshing to see a blues player with that much explosive pace and skills causing the opposition so much panic.

Yes for the FA cup game at the old Baseball Ground v Derby in 1978. It wasn’t pleasant and we lost 2-1. The future Mrs Covbluenose and me were behind the goal in the Colombo Street end wishing we could have been with the Blues contingent to our left.

Always have a real tree in the BlueNation house. Annoys Mrs BlueNation as she can’t be doing with the needle shedding. Proper does her nut. But I insist. It’s one of the few things I won’t give way to her on. I just love the thought of having a tree in the house.

This years one has been proper good. Great shape and good height.

I’m going to miss that green beauty when it’s taken down I’ve got to say.

What would you do with the main stand if you had a blank cheque book. Knock it down. Refurbish it. Leave it alone?

For me I’d leave it. It’s a part of our history. So I love the place

Despite my regular criticism, I agree with him.

He was going to get £30 million to spend in transfer fees in 2017. Only Wolves and 2 of the relegated clubs have spent more than us in 2017 (I think?)

Don't forget also to take a photograph of the Blues banner that was presented to Barcelona when we played them. I still remember that match vividly.
