I was with my father-in-law yesterday, and so watched the game from the main stand (tunnel side) about 10 yards from the halfway line towards our fans. Definitely nowhere near in line, therefore, but.....well before the cross got to Juke it was "obvious" that he was a long way offside. I "knew" before he even headed it that if he scored it wpuldn't count. It'seems amazing therefore to reflect,in the light of the evidence since, how deceptive these can be when the defender is moving away from goal at the same time the forward is moving the opposite way. Far less excuse for the lino of course who was in line, and presumably gave the decision based on their end, rather than starting positions.
The other thing was....it was brilliant to be able to see ( and hear BIG time)our mob en masse when we scored!
