Sorry to be a buzzkill here, but I can't grasp how people haven't figured this out.
The key word is "automatically". There is nothing in the contract that AUTOMATICALLY prevents him from playing. It could very well say "GG cannot play against his parent team without specific permission beforehand" - that's not automatically preventing him, but it would give them the right to say no. I suspect that's probably what it does say.
Oh yeah, play him anyway.
