The Sunday Times asked him for his comments. For the first time in history he declined.

does anyone know why the centre halves have swapped sides? was it the same yesterday - seems to have coincided with the 4 defeats, just seems odd

Re: Morrison/Dean

Even if we still had Keita, he is not a defender, never in a million years he's a winger.

Surely FA Cup Semi Finalists.
I don’t mind them. There I’ve said it

Re: The Preston view on Blues Supporters

Small Heath Alliance

Agree about our songs - couple about the vile, 53 KRO's (about 6 of them actually finished and only 4 of them with any feeling) and a load of dross about Preston and their (admittedly quiet til they scored) fans.
Possibly a hangover from the weeks events, but we are normally a bit more inventive than that. I thought for such a big following we were bang average. Nice that we observed the applause for the Preston Charity worker lad though - that was something.

Silver lining(s) (6 replies)

Been pretty awful few weeks all in all, so what's the upside?

Well I for one am actually quite excited about tomorrow - finally the big day arrives when we learn our fate (hopefully). Reminds me a little of the day the verdict was given to Carson and that took even longer. Given that we aren't going up and (assuming its at most 12 points) we shouldn't go down. Perhaps finally we'll be able to draw a line under this and move on. We might even be able to sign some players in the summer too. Читать дальше...

It’s based on arbritration though.

How so?

When you go to arbitration over something, there is a single arbitrator, and each opposing party has their case presented by their own 'champion'. The arbitrator then tries to negotiate between the parties to reach a mutually acceptable compromise solution. No. That's mediation. A mediator doesn't make rulings, just a settlement. Even if he thinks Party A is 100% wrong, if Party B basically gives up everything, he will go with it. Читать дальше...

Travel again - Berlin (8 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

People on here have said it’s a good city break. Is it easy to get around on public transport? Would I be best booking a transfer to the hotel from the airport or would it be reasonably easy to get there by bus/train etc. Hotel in Mitte district.

TIA.

Cycle hire is good (especially from most hotels).

Also, tip from the locals - no one pays for the tube on the weekend, just jump on and off.

Interesting. I was trying to recall who he scored his 1 goal for us against?

Re: Oval Ball...

Small Heath Alliance

Went to the game. The biggest downer for me was Preston scoring just as the national anthems were being sung, after that I sort of lost interest in the rugby and only when the Scots started their comeback did it get interesting again. But compared to Blues losing ....

Re: Still possible/ Wolves

Small Heath Alliance

An old Dingle mate has put up on his FB "What a time to be a Wolves fan!!!"

I nearly posted up "it's a fast ride back down again old pal"

I didn't. He'll find out sooner or later.

Re: Will we ever have our time?

Small Heath Alliance

Its only a game

I get what your saying, blues affect my mood but as I’ve got a little older and now have a young daughter, blues are in me, but they’re more like an ache than a passion at the moment.

I try to avoid looking at results, but every week I end up watching them or having a radio link on. It pisses me off but, I’d rather spend time with my little one than watching players on large coin who are quite frankly...sh1t

Garry monk has done a fabulous job, the wheels have come off but I expected it sooner. Читать дальше...
