Tam, you have to remember, the character you are replying to, has wanted every one of our last few managers sacked, even his hero Rowett. You get the impression that some can't wait to get the bedsheets out.

There's a few Victor Meldrew types who post on this site and I'm afraid you fall firmly in that camp , with all your literary quotes you should know Rome wasn't built in a day Rednap is re building and will rid us of the dead wood and will produce a team that can play football, now go and drink out of your half empty cup !!!!

Never on the Tilton
I am no great fan of N'Sue but even he is a massive improvement on Caddis.
10 minutes to get back in position when a move broke down and possibly one of the worst ever defensively
I am not, never have been, and never will be envious of Stoke City.
I really do believe that once the players are in place, Harry will go three at the back and the way our full backs played last night proves two things. Nsue would make a better wing back and Grounds would make a better centre back than both as full back.[/quote]
Nsue is too lazy to be a decent wing back. He proved that last season, albeit under Zola.
...and beat 'em 7-0 st their place(tu)

It's not hypocritical. Harry moaning that transfers are ridiculous, pay up or shut up. My point is Ipswich and Cardiff are proving it is possible to get players without spending silly money. Cheap players working hard for their manager. If he isn't prepared to spend mad money then he should do what McCarthy and warnock have done and gambled on cheaper players not whinge all the time about how crap his squad is. He's had all pre season to sort it out. Now he's got two weeks... Читать дальше...

Super effort to qualify and superb captaincy by the villa turd to drop himself.
We still tried to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory at the end though.
Already booked the train for next Friday ....Come on the Warwick!!!!!
No, personally I wouldn't. I think we need another striker, Vassell looks promising and can add some value this year but I don't think we can really on him to play with Che if we have any aspirations of being top 6. He can play a part though and would put some good healthy pressure on Che and the new striker.
Rest looks pretty good though...

Caddis is playing in league 1.
Best full back in the league? FFS, yeah, righto.
He was good for us, but typical Blues, once they leave, they become world class.
Who's embarrassing?
I think it'd be 352 with a new left back/wing back.
Downing a best seasons have been in the middle.
Hypothetically, if you had a team of:
GK: Stockdale
CB: Morrison
CB: Roberts
CB: New centre half
RWB: N'Sue
LWB: Bryan from Bristol City
CM: N'Doye
CM: Acquah
AM: Downing/Ravel
ST: Vassell
ST: Adams
Well you'd take that wouldn't you
Exactly, it's just purely hypothetical.

So you'd all be ok with our manager instructing our players to go out and break legs?
You'll do for me Tom Tam (tu)
None of them are signing
Surely we'd want Downing on the wing putting balls in the box?
We desperatly lack creativity in the final 3rd. Yesterday proved this.
Downing in the hole would be regressive I think.
Have you dropped that stupid act you had now then?
So you'd all be ok with our manager instructing our players to go out and break legs?
We won a cup recently

I reckon you'll see Downing playing behind a front two and in front of N'Doye & Acquah
That sounds decent to me. I'd have Ravel on the bench.
