Re: Gallagher
Where the fecking hell is Acquah? Is he bothering?

I'd have him over Jones and Smalling any day of the week apart from Fridays.
Do you not think that the vile paid Terry a signing on fee of X amount of millions??
I'd be cringing if our owner was online behaving like that, I used to cringe when Gold and Sullivan used to have digs in the press to try and get the fans on side.
If, for arguments sake, the likes of Frei, Stewart, Fabbrini and Shinnie were earning around £60-70k combined then the big increase in wages on the likes of Stockdale, Gardner, N'Doye and Gallagher would've been offset to and extent. The transfer fees recouped for Frei and Shotton will help too.
What is slightly concerning is when you factor in the wages for the Arsenal loanees + any further additions. The club couldn't afford the wage bill last year, so we'll be heavily reliant on 'Chinese deliveries'. Читать дальше...

If we'd have signed Terry and missed out on Gallagher I'd be upset. If our chairman was spewing nonsense on Twitter I'd be embarrassed and if our main fan forum had 30 page threads dedicated to them, and then a week later another 30 page thread then i will be embarrased. The wage figures you're quoting are also complete speculation.

I was more of the idea that West Bromwich was a big step down for him. I was surprised ManYoo sold him tbh, especially for as little as they did.
He's improved a lot over the past few years, he's a very reliable defender, very classy on the ball, can use both feet, can head it, reads the game well, good in the air and has a decent turn of pace.
I'd much rather have him at the back than the likes of Mangala, he'd be a good signing I reckon, Stones could learn a lot from him.
The Baggies fans at work reckon he's their best player by some distance.
We need to stop pretending that if our director tweeted "s*** on the Villa if they lost" or put up a wad of money to pip Villa to a signing then our fans wouldn't be singing his name and that he hates villa.
We also need to relies that doctor tony is only getting in with the fans much the same manner that panos used to think he was one of the lads drinking with us.
This is a non story, and the fact we are clearly biting shows that his winding up is working.

Baggies could sell him for 30mil and get Sakho for the same price
No brainer
Given some of the players they've bought at centre half Evans would represent a very sensible signing.
Jonny Evans is a fecking superb defender.

Bollocks. Juke is more than adequate as a fourth choice striker and contrary to the fast-spreading myth, he hasn't mystically lost three yards of pace in the 12 months we've had him.

Juke can't cut the mustard in open play. The Don is good at hold up play but has lost his speed and hasn't the necessary accuracy.
Had Rowett never been sacked he might have had problems later on in the season due to both fading in pace and accuracy. Zola's management style may well have masked a falling off in performance with our two 'strikers'.
He's a very good player. Better value than the touted fee for van dijjk
Couldn't care less what that skint doughy prick says to be honest.
People and Their Dogs is a debut album that is worth a listen. This is a talented young chap with a huge future. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

I firmly believe Juke would have got between 17-20 goals last season if Zola didn't happen.
Buying strikers doesn't solve goal scoring problems when you don't create chances for them. We now need creative players who can provide service to the strikers we already have, and Donaldson should be moved on.

Another one of these, voted by hundreds of critics. Always feel that Laurel & Hardy are under-represented in these.
Duck Soup a definite, although Annie Hall not even Woody Allen's best comedy, I would suggest
I'm not sure people actually watched the second half on Tuesday
Blaming Juke for being ineffective FFS :(
That was based on the thread title believe it or not
Used one on an album we released this year. Picked rather than strummed though.
