Good job Blues aren't like that anymore :P
They'll just sell Neves and Costa for a decent profit and all will be right again
Might dig out an old Monday Nitro episode while I'm at it.
Can we just try and stop with it? I'm hearing people writing off a very highly regarded midfielder because he's looked off the pace for a few games, I'm hearing people writing off our chances, I'm hearing so much bleating that it's doing my head in. We should be better than that.
If you want to go somewhere to boo and complain once a week, there's a place I know in B6 that will happily accommodate you.
Anyone who's played football knows that when you don't have a good central midfield... Читать дальше...
Probably true, which is a sad realisation

Was this guy some sort of superstar in the youth system? Didn't see anything today that helped explain these staggering fees we're paying for him.
You could have posted this anytime this decade
It's not so much FFP for me, more they are spending way more than the money coming in. Once that catches up with them the erm, fun, will start.

Hark at all the avante garde trendy types pretending they're too cool for Carling.
Evening Voodz
Stockdale - 7 - a couple of superb saves, faultless on the goals
Roberts - 4 - almost cost us first half, did cost us second half. Has not started well
Morrison - 6 - The pace of Barrow on the break caused him trouble, but stood up well
Grounds - 7 - the pick of the 3 centre backs, won every challenge. It's his best position
Jenkinson - 6 - Barely noticed before he got crocked
N'Doye - 5 - injured early again, can't pass to save his life. Needs to sort himself out

No one deserves more than a 6.
- 3 at the back isn't a Blues formation. Never has been, never will be. There's very few team who can pull it off, and we aren't one of them. It shows a bad manager who tries to enforce a system onto a team, and doesn't choose a system that suits the players. Hope Harry learns from this.
- No width. Wingers win games. They put the crosses in for goals, they stretch the game, pull the opposition out of position, take you from one end of the pitch to the other. At the moment we have none. Читать дальше...
That was 10 years ago though.
Morrison is potentially better than Toral, IF he can get his act together, and it's a big IF.

I'm not sure this is the manager I want ...... anymore. The last 3 games have been as bad as anything under Harry's so-called 'great manager', Zola. Harry publicly rubbishes his players and thinks Zola's a great manager. That's a pretty tactless and untenable position. You need your whole squad behind you; you never know when you might need them (injuries etc).
He's had 6 months to make a difference, and I don't see any difference. It's still a shambles, with most players under-performing;... Читать дальше...
We definitely need to sign Ravel Morrison. Some Blues fans we bemoaning us missing out on re-signing Toral; as much as I liked him, I think Morrison is as good, if not better (I mean, of course, the Morrison that was compared to Gazza (I think) by Alex Ferguson (I think...)
