We've looked an entirely different proposition since he's been off the scene

On the evidence of the last 2 games against the last 10, I would say yes, albeit an expensive last 15-20 minutes impact sub when needed, but for the foreseeable future and our current position. The bench is the best place for Jota to be.
We have looked a more organised team/unit, and for all his undoubted natural skill, he doesn't fit our current needs or set up and certainly at the moment we have looked a better team from the first whistle, without him.
Is it going to blossom? Two clean sheets in a row and really impressed with harlee dean and how he can bring the ball out of defence.
Here's what the BCFC manager said after the 2-0 win at Reading

It also helps that in the last two matches he's done what the fans were largely crying out for; dropping Morrison, and playing people in their most comfortable positions.
Either he's listened to supporters, the penny has dropped on its own, or the bingo machine is broken.
A real chance to purge the demons and lance the boil once and for all.
We need to absolutely code red this motherfecker out of sight.
Can't have these country bumpkins coming to a proper city thinking they are anything special.
In their faces from the off. St Andrews at it's noisy, intimidating best. Rowett won't know what's hit him.
He danced on our pitch, celebrating a goal that could have relegated us.
Happy Birthday Andy you old fart.

Stockdale returns to the team
Colin returns to the team
Morrison dropped and stripped of Captaincy
Gardner returns to the team
Davis is kept away from the back 4
Maghoma is threatened with the firing of Cotterill
Cotterill is fired
Boga is played in a attacking midfield 3
Jota dropped
Blues win a few, draw a few that should have won and unjustly lose to QPR.
I wouldn’t say jota is a problem ? He came on a was involved in the winner against qpr the rest is defo to do with a turn around in the fortunes cotts and Morison defiantly
So based on the last two games - are Gardener and Davis still 'shit'?
One of the most frustrating aspects of watching Blues during our long downturn has been that, for all we've supposedly tried to set up defensively and pack the midfield, the opposition still always seemed to have plenty of time and space to pass the ball around.
I dunno whether it's just more motivation and harder running from the players, or if something has changed tactically. But all the sudden it's working; the opposition last two games hasn't been able to pick a pass without being pressured. Читать дальше...
I see no one has started one so I'll get the ball rolling.

Where are you hearing these rumours Steve? Online or offline?
The rumour mill seems to suggest that both Morrison and David Cotterill are generally bad for team morale. I have no evidence that this is the case but with Cotterill leaving, Morrison benched and upturn in form you can see why some people are thinking this. When Morrison joined us from Charlton apparently he had been out of the team there to for similar reasons.
