Embarrassing and dodgy.
The pitch and stadium were completely fine, Derby have a load of injuries...

To actually go into a game with the intention of attacking and creating chances, not just hoping to win a scrappy game. Alot of fans have been saying we had the players to do this and others disagreed
It was an absolute joy. I don't expect that every time, it's not Man City. But that yesterday. It's been so long.
Given the amount of footballers that have retired in the last 10-20 years, even discounting the ones who’ve become managers/coaches and the ones who simply want to do something non-football related, I cannot believe that Clinton Morrison is the best available. I like Clinton, he was decent for us but he is one of the worst pundits I have ever seen. I’m perplexed every time I see him on the screen, struggling to string two sentences together, offering up nothing more incisive than ‘yeah, he’s a good player’. Читать дальше...
Sad I know but I've always thought how clever they are...watching the match now and Leicester's is quite impressive.
There should be a competition for the best pitch patterns for groundsmen to enter I reckon.

Ours can't B)
As we arrived back up north yesterday, the driving conditions had deteriorated to the point that we was in a full on blizzard!
Sheffield blue Jnr drops me off and decides that he is going to continue his journey to the other side of Sheffield. I get a call from him five minutes later saying the conditions were really bad and he wasn't going to risk it. I go and pick him up from where he was stranded for him to stay the night, in the meantime we decide that a takeaway and a trip to the pub was the most sensible thing to do. Читать дальше...
I am in Kigali at the moment. Yesterday I saw a Rwandan with a Blues top on. I can confirm I have seen none of the other lot’s shirts. Overwhelming proof that the locals prefer Blues to them! I felt it was my duty to report!

Same players, same tactics, same squad as the last lot.
The one thing thats changed, the players are closer and have a lot more belief and confidence in their own beliefs.
Something Rowett filled us with too.
Zola took it away by playing players in wrong positions and making them feel poor.
Harry tore any sense of team and confidence away by saying they were all terrible humiliating them publically, trying to replace them all, playing different players and formation each week. Читать дальше...

Every one knowing their jobs.
Was this us.

Horrific snowy conditions at St. Andrews for a game which was pretty much do or die for Birmingham City. The fans still made the effort to come and support their club and St. Andrews was practically a sell out; you must give the Hull fans credit as well for making the trip down the M1. [...]
