My mate in Perth popped up today and said another ex brummie asked him if he recalled a nightclub called Tressamaines (excuse spelling!) I said no not in my clubbing days but wondered if any of you hipsters knew of it, as clubs had a way of changing names but continuing to trade.
I drove up Edgbaston st the other day and my fave nightclub The Heart Beat wiped off the face of the earth, it was part of Ice rink, bowling alley complex!
Anyway, any one recall this? TRESSAMAINES!

Really doesn't bother me, just got back from spain and going out there was a woman was in her 40s pretty much in tears the whole way who had to be reassured by the trolley dolly that she would be ok. Coming back we hit a bit of turbulence and a lady let out a massive scream like we were about to crash. A few on the plane pissed themselves laughing.

Had a few ropey landings but its all part of the fun.

The premier league have been trying to shift matches abroad for years. The NFL obviously does it but that has long been a franchise sport. Football is different here and I wonder if our opposition to shifting the game abroad will eventually be doused. I feel as though at some point, the big leagues will just band together and say feck the fans and make their super league.
