Equity Contributions and FFP (30 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Why have we not made them? There maybe some complications with our ownership model but how more work and thought has not gone into this is appalling really and has really hurt us. With these contributions we would've been below the 3 season loss limit, suffered no penalties and brought in some top notch players.

Having sampled a fair few around Europe, I must say the German Autobahn wins hands down.
1. Lots of 'em.
2. (Mostly) no speed limit.
3. Loads of service stations.
4. Loads of other parking areas.
5. Free.
6. Brilliantly signposted.
7. Great road surfaces.
8. Drivers are reasonable.

Blues cartoon history (no replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Met a chap called Richard Argent yesterday - he's a cartoonist, and he does cartoon histories of various football clubs, including the Blues.

I was impressed

I'm not making any money out of this, so I'm not saying this as an advert, - just nice to see an unusual take on soccer history and thought others here might be interested - do take a look at footballcartoonhistories.co.uk

The Stockdale Saga (11 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

You can really see Blues cutting off their nose to spite their face this season, especially in regards to who's between the posts. At the minute Stockdale could still be loaned out which makes the logic of not playing him make sense, it almost becomes beneficial, why start the season with a keeper t

BCFC: The Keeper Situation (31 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Birmingham City let a two-goal lead slip to draw with Nottingham Forest 2-2 at the City Ground on Saturday. The performance of Lee Camp in goal particularly for Forests second - has once again reignited calls from some fans to reintegrate either David Stockdale or Tomasz Kuszczak into the first tea

Have to say the whole comic book/superhero thing is not my bag at all but watched this at the weekend and very much enjoyed.

What others should I see? Not done any of them tbh

Interesting speculation that does make sense. The sooner TTA have sold to the money men the better. Lets hope the sale goes through soon after the 2 year period expires.

The 2 year period expires in October.
I believe you may be disappointed, as according to Daniel the deal won't be done until much later, possibly the end of the footy season in May.

Any new chants? (27 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Going down on Saturday for the first time this season, any news chants knocking about? Last time I was there was like Groundhog Day, KRO, SOTV, City til I die, stand up if you love the Blues, heard all those at my first game in 2002, but they are old favourites. I had an idea for a player specific chant, as we don't seem to have that many (or any?). If he scores I like the idea of singing about Lukas Jutkiewicz to the tune of 'Mrs Robinson'. "Here's to you Lukas Jutkiewicz, City loves you more than you will know" etc. Читать дальше...

Tandy

People calling us “City” makes me die a little inside.

All City clubs should be emphasizing the City because the racist fascistic slave trading money launderers are trying to monopolize it.

So, at all times when a Manc refers to "City", one should say "Birmingham? Coventry? Leicester? Hull? Chelmsford? Worcester?" until they feck off.

...agree - Belgian roads are terrible. Full of holes and no signposts.

The Dutch ones are great, indeed you're aware the moment you cross into Belgium as it's like going back 100 years
