Getting a patio and some paving of paths done next spring, and contemplating having a pizza oven built in to the wall / seating area.
Anyone had this done, or done it themsleves? Would this be something a decent brickie / hard landscaper can do, or is it a bit more specialist? What sort of cost am I looking at?
Any advice welcome.

After a couple of recent hols I’m ready for another, especially now the weather is shit here. I need some suggestions please. It’d be myself, the missus and a couple of young kids.
Winter sun - Canaries, Cyprus & Malta are the obvious ones. Any other recommendations? I can’t be doing with long haul either because the youngest isn’t even 2 yet and she wouldn’t survive the flight.

Holidays in the Canaries are ridiculously cheap. At the end of October when the kids are off you can get a 4* all inclusive plus flights, bags and transfers etc for just £1500. This is for 2 adults and 2 children and it’s mid to high 20’s still. At that price it’s worth finding one of better 5* hotels which is what I’m going to I reckon.
Or if I'm in a more cynical mood, I'll just call it whining. I read an article today about a charity complaining that a non disabled actor would be playing the Elephant man. FFS. This is straight of the heels of people moaning that a straight actor is playing a gay part in an upcoming movie. As an actor I find this all so ridiculous - I guess people should stop acting and just play themselves from now on??
But as a human being I'm getting tired of this culture of whinging, people being outraged by every little thing and worse still... Читать дальше...

Because they haven't failed yet I guess, so there's nothing to stop. At the end of the season they will have failed by some distance, so they need to get promoted.
Btw I've heard it's a season long loan that could be made permanent in the summer, so they'll know which league they're in then and I assume if they're under an embargo it will get scrapped.

a localish singer song writer,born in stourport and was a teacher in bromsgrove,and passed away at a young age,a bit like nick drake.
he made some great albums in the 70s,he must have liked the lord of the rings,because on one of his albums were two lord of the rings songs,mr bilbo baggins and gandolf.

How big of a game is this on Saturday? I’ve just seen our next 6 fixtures and there are some tough games to go with our tough start. I know it’s 5 games in but it really is a must win game Saturday and put all our hard work into results.
It’s a shame because performance wise, we should be on at least 7 points now but that’s football.
