Just joined Birmingham Punk band 'the dregs' auditioned a couple of weeks ago ,first gig came out of the blue for this Wednesday ,we got a support slot for UK Subs at the Castle and Falcon in Moseley,Punks Alive Xmas Bash ,due to another band cancelling ,it's last in first on so we've got the 6pm slot, £15 on the door 4 support bands plus punk royalty UK subs ,should be a belter ,this will be first time out with the band for me ,and my first gig in brum for 20 years say hello if your down there.

Also funny how Sunderland slagged Camp yet they had a 2 goal better GD than us on boxing day last year,

I was hoping to go to London next week with my other half.

Was hoping to go by rail...£30 Pound return each.

Seems a bit expensive or is this the going rate these days?

Reading reports about a big old scrap at the weekend - Millwall came to Bristol alongside FC Utrecht fans and had running battles with the local yokels who were joined by Willem II lads in what appears to be some sort of European tag team battle royal.

Anyway, an interesting footnote is that the Willem II lads are apparently here for this weekend and will be making the trip up to Brum with their Bristolian mates, presumably not just for a feast of football.

I was hoping to go to London next week with my other half.

Was hoping to go by rail...£30 Pound return each.

Seems a bit expensive or is this the going rate these days?

£42 each for Tamworth to Euston for the West Ham game.

I can fly to Glasgow from Birmingham for the same price.
