I've said on here before that, under the current owners, we are not a football club.
We are a financial vehicle for a HKSE listing, we could be any kind of business, it doesn't matter to the owners
What is to prevent them changing the business model from a football club to, for example, a small manufacturing business.
They could sell the ground for housing/retail (I know it belongs to Vong Pech, but they all are to be connected), wind up the football business and we simply disappear

Not Including the kids from the academy over the last 10 years , who was the last player we signed who improved with us, the only one I think we can safely say is Che Adams, whoever we sign come here confident lads, by the time they leave us their value has dropped significantly, they look drained and any decent ability they have has been taken away from them, I don't understand it at all, it only seems to happen here, we may get it wrong once ot twice but this happens with most of our signings

Change sad to glad and take out the loan players who aren’t ours anyway the answer is the lot, except JJ and Jobe.

Problem is we wouldn’t get tuppence three farthing for any of them so dire is our recruitment, and so poor are we at actually improving players.

Bowie’s 2000 Glasto performance on bbc4 is much more compelling. 3rd time I’ve seen it. Still spell-binding, the antithesis of our current squad and manager. Very sadly.

When we signed Troy. He mentioned that he could of just moved somewhere for the money. But wanted to come to us because of his connection with the club. He might be regretting that decision right now.

Campbell, Mwengi, Bellingham looked exciting. Campbell and Mwengi would start for me moving forward, had a great game. Another positive is we’ve been knocked out so we don’t run the risk of playing a team like Liverpool or Man City who would rip us to shreds

Bowyer made a mistake bringing on a 16 year old in Jobe when we went down to 10 men. he was nothing special, nothing bad and he's not ready for first team football. we must just be looking to trade on the name and sell him. Bowyer didn't do him any favours throwing into that situation.

He was bringing him in anyway. And within five minutes Jobe left two of their defenders with twisted blood. Very promising.

I've been going to football matches for the best part of 30 years and today was without doubt the worst matchday experience I have ever had. Got there a bit earlier than usual for the Covid checks...of course there was absolutely none, so straight in I went. My tickets were in block 39, Row 40...right at the very back...at least that was where I was supposed to be. Suppose it depends on the type of person you are and your expectations. It must be horrendous for some but for me I'd rather go somewhere else not even simply to avoid the idiots but just to avoid inconveniencing other folks by having to get them to stand up as I shuffle past them to my seat - I'd far rather just plonk myself elsewhere even if the seat is inferior - it's just my way of dealing with things I suppose.
