Re: when did town become such a sh*t hole?
It’s no more of a shit hole than other cities - but at least we have good parts to elevate it.

atletico Madrid vs Barcelona
La liga. 8pm kick off.
We have taken 21 points out of the last 87 available, relegation form, no two ways about it
Get out of jail free card...played, so lucky to still be in this
That kid celebrating the goal is what football is defined by.
That's Sunderland (and us).
Comments board so ok. But my point was my gut says it always goes their way. I'm biased. So I looked (lazily) for data. The data backs it up (or it's random). I just hate sport right now
Fat Buddha CBE
Quite simply the best player in the world right now. Possibly best ever

Not sure if it's just this season or since introduced, guessing just this season, nor the confidence intervals. Just want data coz my feeling is they are 'more than lucky' but I have to admit my bias. Nevertheless, every single one goes their way. Chunts.
He's flown out to South Korea today and it's his birthday.
He'll almost certainly be playing in their World Cup qualifying game.
We need him to avoid injury and hope he retains current form.
This kid holds us together. He does the simple things efficiently and brings a cool head to the middle of the park. I'm not sure what his stats are but he rarely gives the ball away.
He's gonna be massively important for us in the run in.
That was a bullet just over the bar yesterday. Читать дальше...
They seem to have refs and VAR in their pocket.
How come Coventry goal was allowed because it wasn’t clear and obvious. Bit after 6 minutes the opposite was decided for them lot. Disgrace

Handball.
TBF, I think the issue yesterday was that they had no conclusive angles to show it hit Simms' arm. Haven't seen today's though.
I have submitted my support, good luck, I hope to visit the new ground one day.
Hi. Getting back in touch as Oxford United now has a live planning application for our newly proposed stadium - as detailed here: [oufcstadium.co.uk]
"There is now a short window of time for the public to respond local Council on the planning application, so if anyone would be happy to fill in a very short form over the next couple of weeks before the public consultation closes, that would be massively appreciated. The link to submit your view on the planning application can be found here... Читать дальше...
RIP Steve.
Sad news ????
Dirty Bertie
Based upon performances this season there's nothing to suggest Sanderson deserves an immediate recall.
And as captain he has failed to provide any leadership or inspiration.
What has happened to him? He looks a million miles from the player he was a couple of years ago.
Seems ravaged of all self belief, Rashford-esque.
RIP Steve.

Don’t think anyone has blamed Buchanan for anything on here at least. If we’re blaming anyone for yesterday’s cockup that led to the goal, it’s aiwu and Drameh, who both had good games aside from the cockup.
Are some people, like Rob Plaister, really looking at that goal yesterday and criticising Buchanan for giving their goal scorer the ball back, rather than shove him or get into an argument? With the state of referees he’d probably get a booking which would be really helpful. I know some like to play the blame game but that really is missing the point. He was one of our best players too. Pathetic.
Is there anyone you’ve not blamed yet?
