Hull - a review
Strange atmosphere in the ground, very subdued away support. Home fans seemed a little excitable especially after going in front from what looked like a handball. Blues weren’t in it. Too many passengers, James, Dembele, Roberts, Dozzel all anonymous. Sunjic was his usual useless self.
Second half was just waiting for the subs to be honest. Hoping we’d hold out till the calvary arrived. Luckily we did and we improved immediately, Hall seemingly brought down when through on goal, Pritchard and Stansfield lively. Paik doing both good and bad things. Eventually Sunjic replaced by Juke, Pritchard finds him instantly with a perfect cross and It’s 1-1. Away end woke up and the home supporters were clearly seething. This was an easy win for them they thought.
Full time and it kicks off through the segregation, bottles and coins, fists and feet, you love to see it.
Panjabi Blues, Delves and Jeremy Dale all in attendance. C’mon Blues Jeremy the noisiest fan of the evening. Lots of Turkish fans in the home end. Split arse count was 0.
Drive home lengthened by junction 23a closure.
A good night out, don’t know why more of you don’t try it.
