Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announces a partnership with Las Vegas-based Star Nursery to be the primary sponsor on the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by Las Vegas native Kurt Busch, when the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) on Sunday, Mar. 3. The No. 1 Star Nursery Camaro will feature livery to match the car that Busch drove to his first NASCAR Championship 20 years ago.

The NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series will head west to Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway this weekend for the third race of the 2019 season. For the first time in DGR-Crosley history, the team will have three Toyota Tundra entries in Friday's Truck Series Strat 200. Anthony Alfredo will have a new number this weekend, driving the team's No. 15 entry. Ryan Reed will be behind the wheel of the No. 17 Tundra and Natalie Decker will drive the No. 54 N29 Technologies entry.

WEST COAST SWING: 2019 marks the fifth consecutive year that the NASCAR schedule has taken the series on a ‘West Coast Swing’ visiting Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway and Auto Club Speedway in succession. Chevrolet has been the most successful manufacturer by earning six victories of the 12 races in the past three seasons that the series has made this mecca. One manufacturer is yet to sweep the “West Coast” swing in its current configuration.

Coming off a promising weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Roush Fenway Racing heads to the second straight 1.5-mile track on the circuit in Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. Earlier today, Team Penske released the first video of the 2019 series of The Penske Games, which returns for its third season after achieving critical acclaim and impressive viewership totals in 2017 and 2018. The multi-episode social media series will be distributed online throughout the course of the 2019 racing season. The new season launched today with the Team Penske drivers playing a version of the popular party game, Minute to Win It, pitting NASCAR and Supercars drivers against their INDYCAR and IMSA counterparts.

JTG Daugherty Racing’s revolutionary sponsorship strategy will ramp-up at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a sweepstakes beginning today. The first theme, Flavor Fill Up, will be prominently featured on the No. 37 Camaro ZL1 driven by Chris Buescher beginning at ISM Raceway and wrap up at Auto Club Speedway.

Richard Childress Racing's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series History at Las Vegas Motor Speedway ... In 64 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Richard Childress Racing Chevrolets have earned 10 top-five and 21 top-10 finishes with eight different drivers - Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Austin Dillon, Dale Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman, Paul Menard and Mike Skinner.

Michael Annett’s best finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is 13th, and he’s finished there three times in his seven starts on the 1.5-mile speedway (2011, 2012, 2018).

There are obviously things that we learned in Atlanta that will apply, but the speeds and the smoothness of the track and just the amount of grip at Vegas, I think that teams are going to approach things quite a bit differently."

DIBENEDETTO BY THE NUMBERS: In four Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career starts at Las Vegas, Matt DiBenedetto has an average start of 30.8 and an average finish of 25.8 with his best finish of 22nd in last March’s event. He’s completed 1,061 of 1,073 (98.9 percent) career laps at the 1.5-mile track.

Stenhouse has seven-career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Las Vegas with an average starting position of 15.7 and average finishing position of 23.3.

Ross Chastain on Racing at Las Vegas: “We’ve had a really strong start to the season, and I’m excited to keep that going this week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” said Chastain. “Obviously this is a special track – getting my first XFINITY Series win here. This Niece Motorsports team has been getting stronger every race, so I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to run towards the front again and contend for a win.”

The No. 2 team will utilize chassis No. 312. Creed raced this chassis at Texas in 2018 and qualified seventh.
