The Vikings drafted another fifth-round receiver. This time the honor belongs to South Florida product Rodney Adams. Adams, the 170th-overall pick in the fifth round, could immediately help the Vikings replace Cordarrelle Patterson at kick returner. Adams averaged nearly 25 yards per return, taking one back for a touchdown, during his final two seasons at USF. After taking two offensive players on Friday, the Vikings started the NFL Draft’s final day by selecting Iowa defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson with the 109th overall pick in the fourth round.
